A novel radiopharmaceutical for PET imaging of inflammation has been found to be well tolerated and safe according to preliminary trial results. The purpose of the 68Ga-labelled Siglec-9 peptide is to advance both the diagnostics of inflammatory diseases and drug development with molecular imaging.
